Socks

I am blogging about socks because, with the exception of my family, they are the best thing that has happened in a while.
I had the potential to have a summer placement, but where my Mom was once willing to stay home (she leaves the province all summer) she isn't now. I understand. My Dad is aging and feeling like their time is getting shorter and they want to be together. I get that. I considered taking the summer anyway with the hopes I could trade for winter, but only one person responded and in the negative. I don't think these people know how amazing it is to be someone's hero. If our situations were reversed I would jump at the chance to help. I guess I'm just getting really scared here. I feel like people are thinking I'm making excuses, but I know what I can and can't live with. And it's funny (funny sad, not funny ha ha) that people might think that given how very little they are willing to give up.

So without further ado. The socks.

I finished the second yesterday and I am so proud. They're for Moz for Christmas.

How frustrating. Don't let other people judge you. Its your life, and what you decided is totally up to you. Not only that, but you have to do what is best for you and your family.

I love the socks! I bet they will keep your sweetie's feet nice and toasty warm. I hope he enjoys them. :)

They are beautiful. I'm sure DH will be very happy with them and be very warm as well.

Happy Holidays!

I hope this season brings you peace with whatever decision you chose.
