A Tale of Two Rebekahs

Once upon a time there was a woman named Rebekah. She had embarked on a long and arduous journey known as adoption. She'd filled out all of the forms, done the home studies, had the interviews, but there was one big thing she had no control over. Rebekah had to wait to be chosen.
Little did Rebekah know that another Rebekah had also embarked on a very difficult journey, she was pregnant and was looking for the perfect family to raise the baby.
God saw these two Rebekahs, both needing something and knew that what they were looking for they would find in each other. So He brought them together. What a great planner He is.
I have had the great privilege of watching (inasmuch as I can read their blogs) the blossoming and fulfillment of this wondrous plan. I have been witness to the growing love between these two women, and their families. And I have to say, it's breathtaking.
Today, a little boy, loved by two Rebekahs, became the cement between two families, the joy of the plan.
I'm so grateful to have seen it.

Welcome, little one.
God bless you and all who love you.
Forever.
