It's not as if I'm terribly busy. It's not as if I have any internet problems (knock on wood). It's just that I am not a very good blogger. I check it every day, but only to look at my little blogroll and see who has updated. In an effort to be more consistent, I present an update:
Mom 2 -nothing really new there on the health front
Uncle - depressed about his impending divorce. Realizing that many of the things he's doing now, he's doing for the last time.
FIL - lonely. He's spending lots of time with us, which I enjoy. I could live with him in our house. He's easy to get along with, respectful and generous.
Bro - looking for other work in an economy that is downsizing (sigh)
DH - happily working out of the property he's renting from his mother. Grrrrr
I got a thank-you card (re: her recent wedding) from my ICK-SIL (vs. YAY-SIL, my bro's wife). I think she's realizing that maybe we are serious about not having anything to do with her and is trying to make nice. I'm afraid a card is not going to make up for what she said.
MIL was spouting off about me the other day according to FIL. He said his response to her was, "shut up."
Nothing new on the school front. Have to call coordinator soon as she does not respond to my emails. So utterly useless.
In the process of writing another book. I think it will be a good one.
Considering going back to church to see if it is any better than when I left. You can thank C.S. Lewis for that.
I have to check my lottery ticket.
If I win:
I would like to visit some of my blogger friends.
I will pay off my family's debts.
I will pay off my own debts.
I would like to buy a couple of hybrid cars.
I want to build a green house (meaning geothermal energy, living roof, etc.) with oodles of land with oodles of trees.
I would like to visit my sponsor child in Africa.
I would like to support locally-based initiatives to improve maternity outcomes.
I would fix up my house, walk down to my local outreach centre, ask if they know of a family in desperate need and hand them the keys to the house.
I would give a whole heap of cash to U.T.E.R.U.S.
What would you do?

You can come visit us!
We would:
Quit our jobs
pay off the house
start a large college fund and trust for Robbie
invest
have a damned good time.
We'd dump a few grand into fixing up our house the way we would if we had money. lol Then we'd buy a house out here for my parents, pass a few bucks around to the fam, and invest the rest. Wouldn't life be nice? *sigh*
