Horse-sense

First off, HUGE CONGRATS to Becky on the birth of Amelia. I'm so so glad for you.

Well, my equine buddy is doing much better. He's eating again and looks to be on the mend.

The situation with the in-laws remains unchanged although my MIL is due to come home tomorrow (maybe today *gulp* or Saturday). Moz is going to have to step up, I think, and instead of avoiding calls, actually tell people to bugger off. Not that they will listen, but at least they will have it from the horse's mouth (wink). The idea of running into them makes my stomach lurch. I've never been one for confrontation.

Mrs. Spit's post today got me thinking (as so many of hers do). It was something I hadn't considered. I'm considering it now. Thank you for the lesson, my friend. I just wish it didn't have to come at such a tremendous cost.

I'm so glad to hear your horsey friend is feeling better. At least there has been some improvement in your life since your last post. As always, good luck with the in-laws.
