I got word yesterday that another placement has opened up in my city.
1. This is highly unusual.
2. The midwife who runs the clinic said she would bring up opening another spot at a meeting because she knew how upset I was. Is this the outcome?
3. I am cautiously hopeful but because I've kind of been shafted at every turn by this process, I am not optimistic. If more than one person (me) wants it, it goes through lottery again.
4. I have been praying that I make decisions that are best for my family so although I was getting excited about the other placement, this would definitely be better for my family.
5. The take-home message. I will be praying without ceasing all weekend (and knitting).
