Miscellaneous

First off,
Robbie is at home! *bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce jump bounce fall bounce bounce bounce*
There. Now that THAT is out of my system...
Robbie, for those of you not in the know, is a phenomenal babe in the U.S. who was born at 26 weeks due to pre-E. His equally phenomenal Mom maintains a blog here that I have been following closely for quite a while now only to find out today that he is FINALLY at home. Squee!

So my first week back at school is over. We had a good time, met the incoming class and now we have the task of settling into our new schedules. I can see some challenges already arising, but nothing insurmountable. One thing that has struck me though is the number of midwives that originally dreamed of/wanted to/were encouraged to go into medicine to become a doctor before ending up in this program. That's not to say there aren't many more who wanted to be a midwife right from the start, but it seems I hear of one more midwife-would-be-doctor every week or so. I'm not sure what to say about it at this point....

Right now, allergies are taking their toll on me so this is a post that is going nowhere. Before I say something really inane, I'm signing off with more to come later.

But for now, just once more,

*bounce*
